How to trim a pegboard using rope

Friday, August 05, 2016

If you've jumped on the pegboard train, then I'm sure you've searched ways to trim out your pegboard. I know I have.

There's many ways to trim a pegboard, you can add wood trim, ribbon, flowers, the possibilities are endless. Just ask Pinterest lol.

To trim yours with rope like I did, here's what you'll need:

*A roll of rope. I got mine from the Home Depot.

*A hot glue gun and glue sticks. You can find these at your local craft store.

I started gluing from one edge and worked my way all around the board

Glue sticks come in different temps. I started using the low temp sticks but I felt like it wasn't holding so I ended up using high temp sticks which worked much better.

Keep working your way all around until you get to the starting point. Then you can cut your rope and glue the ends together to finish it.

And that is all!

In my next post I will share with you how you too can use a pegboard to stay organized.
